Early 20th century Walnut cased ‘1807’ presentation banjo clock by Gilbert Clock Co., New Haven, CT. Has a circular Tin dial enameled with Arabic numerals, behind a convex glass door. The Walnut case adorned with a gilt Eagle decoration on the crown, also having a panel glass door, decorated with a reverse print of General George Washington. Fit with Time and Strike movement. Pendulum and key are present. Case measures approx. 35-1/2″H x 10-1/2″W x 4-1/2″D . Will not ship, we can refer local shippers.

20th Century American Banjo Clock. Original 8 in. paper dial has black spade hands, brass door bezel with glass; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a recoil escapement, hour countwheel strike mechanism on a straight gong, long pendulum rod with brass covered bob and lockdown hardware for pendulum & gong. In a mahogany banjo style case with turned finial, pierced brass side arms, reverse painted throat glass, lower reverse painted door glass and carved and fluted presentation bracket with a border of spherical mounts; in good condition and original finish. 43 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
