Gilbert & German Chiming Tambour Clocks:
1.) Gilbert “Exquisite” in a mahogany case with a T&S with 2 bar strike movement marked with a “G”; a silvered dial marked “Made in Winsted, Conn. U.S.A.” and the pendulum. The clock is running and striking at this time. (There is no key with the clock.)
2.) Foreign – with a T&S with 5 hammer strike movement marked “Foreign”; the metal chapter ring dial with cut out numerals is also marked “Foreign”; and the pendulum. (The clock is running at this time but not striking. There is no key with the clock. The gong has been removed.) This clock is believed to be of German origin.
