The fine French time piece in the form of a gilt bronze lyre-form tower embellished with acanthus buds and other ornamentation, two figural faun-like cherubs in dark patina on either side, a white marble platform having molded edge trimmed in ormolu with rounded ends and trimmed in ormolu beading, raised on four toupie feet, the clock displayed in the lyre's center has porcelain enamel dial fronting a brass plate time and strike movement signed AD Mougin.

Measures 25 x 13 x 7 inches.

A 7 jewel timepiece by Seth Thomas (Thomastown, CT) #1215 mounted within a carved wood casement in the form of an owl, 13″ in height. The carving from what appears to be solid walnut gives the impression that it is one-of-a-kind. Glass eyes.
