A turn of the century English Gothic Revival Bracket clock by "G. F. Younge, Sheffield". 8-day triple train chain driven fusee movement with quarter hour chiming on 8 Bells, and additional hour bell, having a circular Silvered dial with Roman numerals and engraved upper subsidiary dial for Chime/Not Chime with the maker's name. Gothic Revival Oak case with molded central arch and carved foliate detail, carved finials and corner columns on a scrolled base with original presentation plaque which reads "Presented to, The Rev Stephen K Langston, M. A., By The Congregation of St. Georges Church, Sheffield…Sept. 1840". Older cleaned finish with minor wear, replaced top finial, running when cataloged. 37 1/4" high.
