French Table Model Grandfather Clock. 3.5 in. porcelain dial signed ÂJ.E. Caldwell, PhiladelphiaÂ, French round brass 8 day spring driven movement with half hour bell strike is signed ÂS. Marti et Cie and also signed with initials ÂJLF in the sails of a ship. In a painted decorated table top case in the form of a standing floor clock, has a green body with maiden on the front, flowers on the sides, bronze filigree mounts, ribbon crest and large claw feet. Clock is running and striking, has some pulling damage to the wood behind the lower fan shaped mount. 21.5 in. high x 8.75 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep. Weight: 11 lbs.

A 19th century French Castle form table clock with on demand music box and rocking ship. 8-day time and strike movement with silk thread suspension and painted metal dial with Arabic numerals. Spelter case with original painted finish in the form of a hilltop castle above a river with silk "water" and two masted sailing ship. Oak base with brass inlay and flattened ball feet. Wear, losses, ship and music box spring broken, veneer damage to base, lacks glass dome, not currently running. 20" high overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
