Cast spelter figure of Diana, the goddess of the hunt, holding a bow and arrow quiver beside her left hip and a post in her right hand from which the pendulum swings on an X suspension; has a medium-light brown refinish and is in good condition with no damage or repairs. 24.25 in. gridiron pendulum has a cylindrical tub top and figural medallion bob with head of of a maiden, 4 in. paper dial signed “Ansonia Clock Co.”, has Roman hour numerals with spade hands and beveled crystal; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement contained behind the dial which powers the mystery swinging pendulum. Running, in good overall condition, ding at rear of base, replacement movement. 29.75″ high. Weight: 15.25 lbs.

Moreau standing spelter figure of a woman wearing flowing garments, in her left hand she holds a tablet which is propped up on a tree stump which reads ÂAu MeriteÂ, her right hand holds up a post from which the pendulum swings on a crossed suspension spring; the 3 rod gridiron pendulum has an original blue painted sphere at the top containing the spring driven movement and the clock dial with applied brass Roman hour numerals, pierced hands and smaller spherical pendulum bob at the bottom. 24 in. high. Accompanied by a pair of spelter side figures, a fisherman and woman with fishing nets and basket of fish; 15 in. high, standing on turned wood bases. Each figure is in good condition with no visible breaks or repairs, figures have a worn original finish.

The figural swinging ball clock depicts a cupid with bow and quiver that stands on a natural rock formation; in its right hand the cupid holds a post from which the pendulum hangs and swings on an “X” suspension. Has a ball top and spherical bob, the dial has applied brass hour numbers with filigree pierced hands and a ribbon above. Signed on sculpture, “Geo. Maxim” and plaque on the front reads, “Dans L’Hesitation, Par Geo. Maxim.” The clock is all original but does not run. Dimensions: 41.5 in. high x 23 in. wide x 15 in. deep. Weight: 32.75 lbs.

Mystery swinger gridiron pendulum has an X suspension with 3.25 in. porcelain dial at the top, brass spring driven movement signed Japy Freres and with the mark of Guilmet, numbered 7677, has an half hour strike on a bell. In running condition, clock strikes, no breaks or repairs. 29 in. high.
