S. Marti French Slate & Marble Mantel Clock: Black porcelain double sunk dial with gold Roman numerals and visible escapement; slate and red marble case; signed movement; has pendulum and key; very nice case.
Not tested.
(The pendulum suspension needs to be reattached. There are some very minute chips to lower case in the front and one to the back on the top.)

A 19th century French mantel clock by "A. Brocot, Paris". 8-day time and strike movement with visible escapement, a two-part porcelain dial, Roman numerals and sweep seconds hand over a lower calendar dial with outer Month indicator and subsidiary Day/Date dials below a circular Moon Phase indicator aperture. Black Slate case with shaped top, fluted quarter columns and shaped molded base. Dial and movement both marked "A. Brocot, Paris" with the serial # "2596" on the movement and pendulum. Some case wear and older repair, running momentarily when cataloged. 16 13/4" high. ESTIMATE $1,000-2,000

French Slate and Marble Mantel Clock: With a good porcelain dial and a bell striking movement marked J.W.B. 19171. There are dark green marble highlights decorating the case. Both springs wind smoothly.
Dial – 4″ Diameter; Case – 11″ Tall x 9 5/8″ Wide. (The pendulum has dropped into the case through the small opening and has not been retrieved.)
