French Silver 1 Minute Repeater Travel Clock. 2.75″ painted metal dial signed “Spaulding & Co., Paris” has black Roman hour numerals and beveled crystal; the spring driven movement is stem wind and stem set, has a repeater button at the top of the case for the minute repeater mechanism which strikes on 2 gong. In a beautiful art deco French hallmarked silver case with original leather bound travel case and removable platform base in spinach green jadeite on turned ball feet; clock can be lifted from the jadeite base and placed in the original travel case which is signed “Spaulding & Co., 36 Av. De L’Opera, Paris”. Clock is running and repeating, silver case, base and travel box are excellent and appear nearly untouched; case missing leather strap handle; silver purity hallmark and makers mark are unclear. On base measures 4.25″ high x 3.25″ wide x 2.25″ deep. Weight: 1.75 lbs.
