French Silk String Clock w/Mechanical Dial: the time with half hour gong striking movement is unmarked. The 4 1/2″ porcelain ring dial’s center is engraved and has a mechanical winged cherub with anvil. When the hour and half hour is struck, the cherub swings his hammer. The case is wood with gilt wood and gilt metal decorations. The 4 columns are white alabaster. Keys are with it. There is a pull string to repeat the hours strike.
(The ring dial does have a fracture between the 3 and 4 and a hairline with chip at the 8 and near the 10.)
19 1/4″ x 11″ and running at this time
