Condition:
The clock is in a good condition according to age. The lower gallery is slightly bent. The inside of the lid is somewhat chipped. The total height, including the lid, is 42 cm. During a short-term test, the clock started to run, but long-term precision and functioning cannot be guaranteed. (cko)

French Rotary Pendulum Time & Strike Conical Clock: the time and bell striking movement is encased in a ball, the same as used on free swinging clocks. It is marked Medaille Dor-CLT-BTE-SCDC-Paris and numbered 8034. The bronze tripod shape holds the now missing string supported pendulum. The short pedestal is made of slate, under that is a bronze support with 3 adjustable feet. The clock will run and strike; tested by hand. Preserved under a not original glass dome with wood base.
