French Porcelain Panel Repeater Carriage Clock. Gilt brass case with hinged handle, beveled glass on the front, rear door and top exposing the escapement, sides and front have hand painted porcelain panels with a scenic landscape on the front and portraits of woman on the sides having enamel highlights, artist signed “L. Simonnet”; front panel has a 2 in. time dial with roman hour numerals and a 0.75 in. sub alarm dial, repeater button on the top of the case. French brass spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement, half hour strike with half hour repeat mechanism (strikes the hour or strikes once for the half hour) on a coiled gong and alarm mechanism. Clock is in excellent condition with no damage to the case or porcelain, movement is running, repeating and striking, alarm spring is broken. 5.75 in. high x 3.75 in. wide x 3.25 in. deep.
