French Beaux Arts Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock. The clockworks with enamel face and Roman numerals, inset to marble rocaille, over gilt bronze frieze, over marble base on gilt bronze cylindrical feet; surmounted by gilt bronze figure of Pan as child, over two patinated bronze figures of adult Pan and Syrinx, his companion. Not marked. France. Circa 1890. {Approximate dimensions: 21" H. x 21" W. x 8" D.}. Condition: Circular crack to dial at 8 o'clock. Cracking to white marble base, with some cement fill. Scratches to surface.
