Circa 1860 French Unsigned 8 Day Wall Clock with 16″ Repainted dial, Morbier type movement, Interesting wall clock made up of old parts. Good condition with flaws, redialed old movement. Needs cleaning. 16″H x 16″W x 6″D
Description
A 19th century French Morbier wall clock by “Nathieu Bourroufse, a’ Neillan”. 8-day weight driven movement with crown wheel escapement and porcelain dial with embossed Brass bezel and compensating pendulum. Later wall bracket, many cracks and flakes in dial, bezel painted gold. Running when cataloged. Approx. 59″ high overall. ESTIMATE $200-300
