Gilt Brass 5 Minute Repeater Carriage Clock. Brass dial has a 2.25 in. porcelain chapter ring with black hour numbers, black hands and presentation engraving on the front to ÂMr. & Mrs. Alexander Semple, From Their Friends in Broadbrook, Conn., March 16, 1892Â. Brass spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement in good running condition with half hour strike on a coiled gong and 5 minute repeater buttons on the top and rear of the case. Has a gilt brass case with spiral turned hinged handle at the top and spiral turned corner columns, has beveled glasses on the rear door, front, sides and the top exposing the escapement. Strike mechanism is not working. 7.5 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.

French Silver 1 Minute Repeater Travel Clock. 2.75″ painted metal dial signed “Spaulding & Co., Paris” has black Roman hour numerals and beveled crystal; the spring driven movement is stem wind and stem set, has a repeater button at the top of the case for the minute repeater mechanism which strikes on 2 gong. In a beautiful art deco French hallmarked silver case with original leather bound travel case and removable platform base in spinach green jadeite on turned ball feet; clock can be lifted from the jadeite base and placed in the original travel case which is signed “Spaulding & Co., 36 Av. De L’Opera, Paris”. Clock is running and repeating, silver case, base and travel box are excellent and appear nearly untouched; case missing leather strap handle; silver purity hallmark and makers mark are unclear. On base measures 4.25″ high x 3.25″ wide x 2.25″ deep. Weight: 1.75 lbs.
