French Oval Miniature Porcelain & Brass Carriage Clock. Oval brass case with hinged handle, scenic hand painted curved porcelain panels on the sides and rear door, flat porcelain dial panel with 1″ dial having black Roman hour numerals and bowed beveled glass on the front and top, viewing the escapement; case marked “Depose” on the bottom. Brass 8 day spring driven time only movement has a platform cylinder escapement; not running, no cracks or repairs to the porcelain, glass or brass. 3″ high x 2.5″ wide x 2″ deep. Weight: 0.75 lbs.

The porcelain case is in the form of a fluted plinth with an octagonal base, floral painted decoration with gilt highlights, ormolu figural winged putti finial and hinged door bezel. Small round brass spring driven time only movement with platform lever escapement is running. In good overall condition, no breaks, chips or hairlines in the case, figure is missing and instrument in the left hand. 8.75 in. high.

English Brass Spring Driven Miniature Carriage Clock. 1 in. painted metal dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and signed Taylor & Bligh, England; has a brass spring driven time only movement with platform lever escapement, in good running condition, balance swings with nice brisk motion, movement signed Made in England, 11 Jewels. In a miniature brass carriage clock case with hinged handle on top, beveled glass in the front, back, sides and top exposing the escapement; has an overall polished gilt brass finish. Good running condition, no breaks, chips or cracks to the dial or glass, case finish has some light tarnish. 4.25 in. high to the top of the handle x 2 in. wide x 1.75 in. deep.
