A. Duminil French Bronze Silk Thread Clock. 3 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals & pierced black hands, signed by the retailer Henard A. Paris. Typical round French brass 8 day spring driven silk thread movement signed A. Duminil, half hour strike on a silvered bell. Quality 2 tone gilt and patinated bronze case has a figure of a musician on one side and a standing tree to the left side, central dore bronze clock tower resembles a bookshelf with a music stand finial; the base has a brown patina with mounted dore bronze instruments, leafy trim and round feet. In very good condition. 15 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
