In a typical brass crystal regulator case with beveled glasses on 4 sides (one with chips); the top of the case is mounted with a terrestrial globe on a brass stand, has an annular chapter ring along the equator and indicator drops down from Paris, France, the globe is signed G. Early French Time and Calendar Globe Clock: There is a 12 hour and 24 hour dial. The 24 hour dial is marked AM on one side and PM on the other. The silk string movement is not marked. The metal globe on top is geared and numbered 1-31 along with initials L.B. and date 1776. Case is in a bronze and glass sided cover. The base is wood and painted black.

Dark marble plinth base with carved pink marble urn top, has gilt bronze mounts with swans, filigree, wreath, ribbon, bow & arrow and finial with figural winged cherub on the front having a dark brown patina. 3.5 in. dia. minute and hour annular dials with porcelain numeral panels; round brass spring driven time only movement signed ÂE.M.Â over Â2233Â, with cylinder escapement in running condition. Nice overall condition. 12.75 in. high. Weight: 7.25 lbs.

French Figural Marble & Bronze Annular Clock. Oval white marble base with rope twist & beaded trim, standing on top is a pair of figural putti with an excellent dark brown patina, they hold up a gilt bronze urn, decorated with hanging garland, filigree side handles with mythical mounted faces and lid decorated with a figural cupid hanging down and holding an arrow acting as the time indicator. 3.5 in. annular chapter ring has applied porcelain plaques with Roman hour numerals and 15 minute markers; brass spring driven time only movement is in good running condition. 16.75 in. high x 9 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

French Annular Dial Bronze & Marble Clock w/Putti: The dial has Roman and Arabic Numbers on it. The tip of an arrow is the time indicator. The clock case is supported by half figured putti. Their lower half is in the form of acanthus leaves. A floral garland is draped around the center.

The clock is running at this time.

(The “VII” is damaged; green oxidation on the inside curled tail of the left side nymph; minor green oxidation under garland on right side nymph.)
