French Mahogany Bracket Clock. 5 in. engraved brass dial with black insides Roman hour numerals and minute numbers outside; square brass 8 day spring driven movement signed “S. Marti et Cie”, has half hour strike on a coiled gong, in running condition, has pendulum. In a mahogany case with spiral turned corner columns, faux bell top with figural Frenchman finial, gilt brass corner finials, mounts and feet. In nice overall condition, repair at the top hinge of the door. 23.75 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 7 n. deep. Weight: 11 lbs.

Caldwell & Co. (signed on dial), Art Nouveau influenced bracket clock has clean lines and thick beveled glass in the front door, excellent original condition, with normal wear and nice patina.
