French Picture Frame Wall Clock, Circa 1880, 10″ alabaster dial, 8-day, square brass movement, serpentine picture frame case with brass inlaid rosewood surrounding dial, enamel cartouche with red on white hour markers, good condition with wear, movement complete and seems to work fine. Height 26″.

Faux finished scalloped edge front with Mother of Pearl designs around the interior face, time and strike, made to be recessed into a wall if desired, 19″ wide by 6″ deep. 1880-1900 era, these are normally French. The face is in really good condition.

Carved “Wavy Edge” frame with original Ebonized finish opens and displays a dial surround with extensive mother-of-pearl inlaid decoration. In good running order. Some wear. 24 1/2″ high.
