Louis XVI Style Lyre Clock, For Tiffany & Co.: The bell striking movement is marked “Made in France 4668”. The porcelain dial is marked “Tiffany & Co.” The 7 rod pendulum is connected to a ring of paste brilliants that is around the case and also to an inner pendulum in the back. The bronze and white marble case has floral garlands, ladies masks, bell flowers, acanthus leaves and fruit on it.

Bronze lyre shaped case with white marble inserts in the arms on the front and oval white marble base, has a figural winged putti at the top over hanging garland, beaded trim, leafy scrolled and oval plinth style base, beveled door glass over the dial; has an overall gilt finish which has a lacquered overcoat. 5.25 in. painted porcelain dial with black hour numerals and colorful painted garland highlight; typical round brass spring driven movement has an half hour count-wheel strike mechanism. In running condition, pendulum swings, clock strikes, missing bell; signed on the back of the case with foundry mark for ÂFabrication FrancaiseÂ. 27.5 in. high.

French Marble & Bronze Lyre Swing Clock. Beautiful 2 tone gilt & dore bronze lyre shaped case has pierced leaf and berry decoration within the frame, maidens head at the crest and hanging garland on an oval white marble base with beaded and filigree decoration and feet. The gridiron pendulum hangs on a knife point suspension at the top of the case and the crutch is engaged through a pin in the base. 6 in. convex porcelain chapter ring with open center exposing the skeletonized movement, has black Roman hour numerals and Arabic 5 minute markers, beaded inner and outer bezels, pierced gilt hands and signed Mathieu Laine. The quality brass spring driven movement has an hour & half hour strike mechanism with bell and is in good running condition. 23 in. high x 8 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
