French Lerolle Freres Clock, Signed L. Marti & Cie: the time with half hour bell striking movement has both names on it and is numbered 163. The fancy 5 1/2″ gilt metal dial is also signed and has individual porcelain on metal Roman numerals. The early style case has female figures on all four corners; on the side are what looks like costume masks with bell flowers extending below them. These are in a glass fronted compartment with purple felt backing. This case rests on a separate platform of the same material.
(The glass is missing from the back access door. The platform’s surface is scuffed up from the clock being moved on it.)
Clock-15″ x 9″ and running at this time; Platform-2 5/8″ x 10 1/2″ x 7 3/4″
