French Industry Clock, L. Japy-Paris: this is a massive clock, circa 1844-1849. The lady on top holds a steamship (engine) while her other hand rests on a globe. There are floral garlands, acanthus leafs and a recumbent lion. It has a time and strike movement marked Bamic Paris- Japy & Marseille & Regent. The clock has a white metal statue and a bronze base.
