French Industrial Maritime or Compendium Clock, c. 1880, turned finial over the 4-in. dia. terrestrial "E. Bertaux" globe with twelve printed gores mounted to the capstan, 2 1/4-in. roman numeral silvered dial, aneroid barometer, boom jack, compass and anchor with thermometer scale, all resting on the white onyx and gilt brass stepped base, one-day, time-only, spring-powered movement with platform escapement, stamped "1366," ht. 15 1/2 in.

French Industrial Animated Lighthouse Clock. The top of the light tower has a silvered finish with a timepiece on the front, thermometers left and right and a barometer on the back. Driven from a separate movement in the base of the tower, the top section oscillates clockwise showing the 4 sides. The time only hairspring movement has a silvered 2.25 in. dial matching that of the barometer on the reverse and they both have a gilt bezel with beveled glass. The gilt body has a nice finish with incised brickwork replicating the structure of the tower with copper colored windows and door. 17 in. high x 6.5 in. dia.

French Industrial Animated Torpedo Clock. The silvered torpedo shaped case with gilt brass trimmings, 2.5 in. silvered dial with black Roman numerals, has black open club hands, brass time only movement with platform lever escapement in good working condition; a separate movement runs the propeller in the back, has a broken spring. The green onyx base has brass hangers with pulleys holding the torpedo, also mounted on the base is a compass and barometer; has some repair to the onyx, a very nice, rare clock. 14 in. high x 17 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

French Industrial DiverÂs Helmet Desk Clock. Silvered bronze case in the form of a diverÂs helmet with 2 in. silvered time dial on the front having incised Roman hour numerals, 2 in silvered dial on the left and right for thermometer and aneroid barometer and 1.5 in. silvered compass dial on top; each has beveled crystals and gilt bronze bezels, stands on a rouge marble base. Timepiece has a small round brass spring driven movement with cylinder escapement, stem wind and stem set, in very nice running condition. 8 in. high x 6.25 in. wide x 6.25 in. deep. Weight: 8.25 lbs.

The vertical cylindrical boiler has a polished brass finish with silvered embellishments and copper piping, governor at the top and stands on a black marble base. 2 silvered dials, 2.25 in. each, one at the top for an aneroid barometer and one in the door below contains the French brass time only movement with cylinder escapement. Clock is in good working condition, thermometer escutcheon on the left side is missing its tube. 13 in. high x 6 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

French Couaillet Compendium Carriage Clock, Circa 1925, 4″ x 2″ enamel dials with gilt mask, 8-day, brass spring driven movement with arrow trademark of Couaillet family, rare & unusual carriage clock with companion barometer, Anglaise type case was made for export to England, slightly tarnished, very good condition. Height 6″. A great desk or bookcase clock that would be very difficult to replace.
