French Bronze Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.5 in. porcelain dial with black hour numerals and sub alarm, day and date calendar dials. French brass spring driven movement signed “Dent, France 1474” has a platform lever escapement, half hour bell strike with hour repeater button on top of the case and has an alarm mechanism. In a fine gilt bronze case with pierced decorated filigree, hinged handle, winged maiden’s heads and claw feet; beveled glass panels on the front, back and sides, exposing the escapement through the glass top. In good overall condition, runs, strikes, alarm is not working. 7 in. high x 4.75 in. wide x 4.25 in. deep. Weight: 5.75 lbs.

French Hour Repeater and Alarm Carriage Clock. Brass case has corner columns, beveled glass on 4 sides and the top, escapement exposed through the top, and repeater button. Black open moon hands, enameled dial w/ black Roman hour numerals, red 5 minute numbers and minute markers on the chapter ring, sub-dial below for the alarm. Quality brass movement w/ silvered lever platform escapement, strikes the hour and once on the half hour on a single coiled gong, in good running condition, though the alarm spring is broken, alarm is not working. 8 in. high x 4 in. wide x 3.5 in. deep.

Starr, New York” and “Made in France”, has a pierced brass filigree center and sub alarm dial below; brass 8 day spring driven movement has a platform lever escapement, half hour strike on a coiled gong, hour repeater button on the top of the case and alarm mechanism ringing on the same gong. Brass case with hinged handle on top, filigree decorated edges with fluted corner columns, has enamel decorated panels on the sides with full standing portraits of robed women on a deep red background, beveled glass on rear door, front and on the top exposing the escapement. Running, striking, repeats and alarm functions, no damage to the enamel or glass, gilt finish has some wear; has key. 6.75 in. high x 4.25 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.

Brass case has a hinged handle on the top, beveled glass on the sides, doors and on the top exposing the escapement. Dial has a single hairline across the center, rear door glass has a small corner chip. 6.25 in. high to the top of the handle x 3.25 in. wide x 3 in. deep.

Porcelain dial has a 2 in. chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, alarm dial below, open moon hands and signed Gillett & Johnston, Croydon. Quality spring driven French brass movement signed Soldano, has a platform lever escapement with good balance wheel, blued coiled gong for half hour strike and alarm, has a 1 hour repeater mechanism. Clock is in good condition with no breaks or repairs, time, alarm and repeater mechanisms are all in good working condition. 8 in. high x 4.25 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep.
