French Bronze Pirate Silk Thread Mantle Clock. 2.5 in. silvered dial with black painted Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and gilt brass bezel; round brass 8 day spring driven silk thread movement stamped with fancy initials “PC” in an oval, has a half hour strike on a bell and silk thread suspension. In a 2 tone silvered and gilt bronze case with figural scene of a pirate standing on a sinking ship on the waves during battle, he holds a pistol in one hand and battle axe in the other. Very good overall condition, with no missing or broken case parts, silvered finish on the sail and wave is worn; missing bell and rear door bezel, has key and pendulum, running and striking. 17.25 in. high x 12.75 in. wide x 4 in. deep. Gilt Bronze Silk Thread Skeletonize Mantle Clock. 4 in. porcelain dial with 3 in. open center with fancy gilt bezels and gilt pierced hands; typical round brass 8 day spring driven time only silk thread movement, has a long pendulum rod with figural maidenÂs head bob. In a gilt bronze portico style case with turned finials, columns and feet at the corners, has applied filigree crest and beaded edge around the base. Movement is running, no hairlines in dial, case is in nice condition. 13.75 in. high x 6.25 in. wide x 3 in. deep. Weight: 4.5 lbs.

French Empire Silk Thread Figural Bronze Cupid Clock. Gilt bronze of a figural standing winged cupid beside a whetstone grinding wheel, he smiles as he sharpens the arrow of love; the clock is contained in the body below with French Empire period designed tables on either side, one with a jug and cup, the other with a basket of flowers, the scene in the arched panel of the base depicts a dog seated on a rock and watching cupid string his bow. 4 in. porcelain dial has black hour numerals and blued open moon hands; brass spring driven 8 day movement has a silk thread suspension and half hour strike on a bell. In very good condition, beautiful finish, no breaks or repairs, tip of the arrow is missing. 18 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
