French Boulle Inlaid Mantle Clock. Circa 1860. 8 in. fancy gilt brass dial, has a relief decorated center and black Roman hour numerals on white porcelain inserts, incised outer numbers for minutes, dial signed F. Lesage, Paris, has fancy blued hands. Typical square brass, spring driven, 30 day, French movement with Brocot escapement, gilt brass pendulum with maidens head, half hour strike on a steel bell at the top of the case. French boulle case with swirling brass inlays inside & out with fancy gilt bronze mounts & borders, figure of a woman seated beside an egret with book & oil lamp in her hands and large bronze figure of a winged cherub on a globe. In good running condition. 36 in. high x 16 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

French Boulle & Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock. 7.25 in. dia. gilt bronze dial with black incised Roman hour numerals, incised minute numbers, gilt pierced hands, relief center panel with profile portrait of Louis XV and gilt bronze mounts on the velvet back panel signed ÂCoquerel, ParisÂ. Square brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂG.V. – 555Â has a Brocot escapement, quarter hour strike on 2 coiled gongs and is in running condition. In a wonderful case with fancy brass filigree inlaid into tortoise shell and bronze mounts, Eight fleur de lis finials and figural horses laying down supporting the case on the base. In very nice condition with a lacquered finish. 28.5 in. high x 19 in. wide x 10 in. deep. Weight: 33.75 lbs.

French Boulle & Brass Inlaid Bracket Clock. 12 in. repousee brass dial has large inset porcelain plaques with black Roman hour numerals, outer inserts with Arabic 5 minute markers, porcelain center signed J. Gudin, A Paris and pierced black hands; has a brass spring driven movement with pin pallet escapement and half hour countwheel strike on a silvered bell, movement signed A.D. Mougin. In a large case with matching hanging shelf bracket and domed top with figural finial, has deep red and black boulle with fancy brass inlays and filigree mounts; the large door has a brass frame with figural brass overlay at the bottom, original door glass and side glasses. Clock is in original finish, has some roughness, loss and pulling to the brass inlays, pendulum is a replacement. The clock is 40 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7 in. deep, overall height in the bracket is 58 in.
