French Figural Moreau Swinging Arm Clock. Standing spelter figure of a French maiden in long flowing robes blowing in the wind, in her left hand she holds a tablet which reads ÂAu Merite (Merit), her right hand holds up the large pendulum, on a turned ebonized wood base; sculpture is signed L.F. Moreau, tag on the front reads ÂAu Merite, L.F. Moreau, Mdle dÂOrÂ, has a gilt finish. The large 3 rod gridiron pendulum has 3.5 in. spherical top containing the movement with applied brass Roman hour numerals, fancy pierced hands, gilt ribbon crest and gilt filigree shoulder supports with a spherical pendulum bob at the bottom; brass spring driven time only movement with initials ÂC.O.A. over 5241 and marked France. 24 in. high.

Lg. French Figural Swinging Arm Mystery Clock. Large bronze patinated spelter standing figure of a winged cupid holding a bow in his left hand and a quiver of arrows at his hip, his right hand is raised holding the post from which the pendulum swings on a crossed suspension; signed Geo. Maxim and a plaque on the front reads Dans lÂHesitation, Par. Geo. Maxim, in good condition, has a medium brown finish. The large gridiron pendulum measures 36 in. long with a 6.75 in. spherical ball at the top containing the movement with filigree & ribbon mounted crest and shoulder bracket over a silvered and gilt 3 rod gridiron pendulum and spherical bob at the bottom; has a green painted surface with applied Roman hour numerals and gilt pierced hands, round brass 8 day time only movement is signed ÂG. Schmol, ParisÂ. In good condition with no breaks or repairs, in running condition. Overall height is 40 in.

Moreau standing spelter figure of a woman wearing flowing garments, in her left hand she holds a tablet which is propped up on a tree stump which reads ÂAu MeriteÂ, her right hand holds up a post from which the pendulum swings on a crossed suspension spring; the 3 rod gridiron pendulum has an original blue painted sphere at the top containing the spring driven movement and the clock dial with applied brass Roman hour numerals, pierced hands and smaller spherical pendulum bob at the bottom. 24 in. high. Accompanied by a pair of spelter side figures, a fisherman and woman with fishing nets and basket of fish; 15 in. high, standing on turned wood bases. Each figure is in good condition with no visible breaks or repairs, figures have a worn original finish.

Picault titled ÂVictoria with foundry mark for Fabrication Francaise, Paris, a standing figure of a man wearing waist garments and a cape, holds a sword in one hand and the clock pendulum up in the other, on a green marble base. Mystery swinger gridiron pendulum has an X suspension with 3.25 in. porcelain dial at the top, brass spring driven movement signed Japy Freres and with the mark of Guilmet, numbered 7677, has an half hour strike on a bell. In running condition, clock strikes, no breaks or repairs. 29 in. high.
