Dubois French Empire 4 Columns Portico Calendar Clock. 6 in. silvered and damascened dial has black painted Roman hour numerals with open moon hands, 2 sub dials with French abbreviations for Day & Month and open aperture exposing the date, dore bronze filigree decorated bezel; round brass spring driven movement with deadbeat escapement, count wheel half hour strike mechanism with a steel bell, large quality gridiron pendulum, in good running condition. In a beautiful French empire 4 column case with ebonized lacquered finish, dore bronze trim, capitols and overhanging cornice top. 28.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 7.75 in. deep.

A fantastic birds-eye maple case with 4 turned columns, bronze dore capitols, trim and bezel around the dial, which has a 5 in. porcelain chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, engraved dore bronze center, open moon hands and sweep seconds hand. Large, round brass movement is signed Rieussec, Hger Du Roi; has a pinwheel escapement, long heavy brass, gridiron pendulum hangs from a knifepoint suspension in the rear of the case. 22.25 in. high x 11.25 in. wide x 6.75 in. deep.

French Empire Bronze Portico Clock. 3.5 in. gilt brass dial with black painted Roman hour numerals, machined center, acanthus leaf bezel and open moon hands; has a typical round brass 8 day spring driven movement with an half hour count wheel strike mechanism on a steel bell, gridiron pendulum with fancy leaf decorated bob. Dore bronze 4 column case with overhanging cornice top, relief decorated filigree and swans on the cornice and relief decorated garland, filigree and swans on the front of the base. In very good condition with an excellent finish and running. 17 in. high x 8.5 in. wide x 4.75 in. deep.
