French Empire 4 Column Mantle Clock. Black marble case with 4 turned marble columns, dore bronze mounts, capitols, feet and filigree bezel; 4 in. dia. damascened brass dial with painted hour numerals and open moon hands, typical round brass spring driven movement with an half hour strike on a bell, nice gridiron pendulum with a heavy dore bob decorated with birds and filigree. Unsigned, in running condition; has some typical minor chipping to the corners of the marble. 19.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
