French Empire Malachite Portico Clock. 4.5 in. porcelain chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, engraved dore bronze center and bezel, blued open moon hands; French brass spring driven movement, count wheel strike mechanism with silvered bell, large gridiron pendulum with heavy brass bob. The malachite case has 4 tapered columns with dore bronze capitols, cornice, base and feet. In very good condition with no breaks or repairs. 20.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

French Empire Pinwheel Portico Clock. A fantastic birds-eye maple case with 4 turned columns, bronze dore capitols, trim and bezel around the dial, which has a 5 in. porcelain chapter ring with black Roman hour numerals, engraved dore bronze center, open moon hands and sweep seconds hand. Large, round brass movement is signed Rieussec, Hger Du Roi; has a pinwheel escapement, long heavy brass, gridiron pendulum hangs from a knifepoint suspension in the rear of the case. 22.25 in. high x 11.25 in. wide x 6.75 in. deep.

French Empire Portico Clock. 3.5 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and fancy dore bronze bezel; early round,brass spring driven French movement, has count wheel half hour strike mechanism and steel bell. In an ebonized, portico style case with spiral turned columns and heavily embellished with dore bronze floral mounts with swirled filigree and central medallions, fancy gridiron pendulum, with figural & relief molded dore bronze bob. Clock attr: to Louis Philippe (c.1840) and is in very good overall condition with only a few very minor losses to the mounts. 20.5 in. high x 10 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

In a beautiful French empire 4 column case with ebonized lacquered finish, dore bronze trim, capitols and overhanging cornice top. 28.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 7.75 in. deep.

Valery, a Paris; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement with bell strike and gridiron pendulum with filigree decorated gilt bronze bob. The inlaid walnut case has a dark brown finish with serpentine crest, 4 spiral turned columns having gilt bronze capitols & bezel and the base. Dial has some damage at 1 oÂclock and the clockÂs suspension spring is missing. 21 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Dore bronze case with long Corinthian columns, the top frieze has 5 square panels on the front and 2 on each side centered with rosettes under architectural moldings; the base has 6 overlapping wreaths over beveled acanthus leaf molding and square feet. The 9 rod gridiron pendulum hangs from a knife point suspension; the movement contained in the pendulum is signed Lons Paris 1827, is spring driven with a pinwheel escapement, count wheel strike mechanism, 3.5 in. dial with black Roman numerals and black hands. In very good condition; 22.5 in. high x 11 in. wide x 6 in. deep.
