DESCRIPTION: A French Empire "Lesieur Paris" bronze ormolu astronomical mantel clock. Features a gilt bronze foundation with two ornately decorated mirroring structures. Clock designed with a black Roman Numeral silvered dial with two open work mounted hands. Second dial features day, month, and year complications in black with two mounted hands. Clock case finished with flaming torches at each corner, hanging wreaths, vine bordering details, and mounted torch finials. Mounted to a Siena marble plinth with bronze figural footed base. Movement engraved: "Lesieur" Clock key included.
