French Clock with Top Mounted Pendulum. 4 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands, sub seconds dial and brass bezel; the large gridiron pendulum hangs from a knife point suspension on a column mounted on top of the case, the column has an applied eagle over serpent embellishments and flame finial, 2 tone dore bronze and medium brown patina. Typical round French brass spring driven movement has countwheel strike mechanism on a steel bell; in good running condition with no breaks or repairs, unusual form. 25 in. high x 8 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

French Giltwood & Bronze Animated Pendulum Lyre Timepiece with Matching Candelabrum, Circa 1890, 2 1/2″ excellent hand painted enamel dial, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, very unusual small sized lyre clock with exposed circular rhinestone pendulum, fine Verni Martin hand painted decoration on the giltwood case with high quality ormolu decorations, finely painted floral wreaths, a very fine clock set, excellent condition with normal wear. Relief cast gilt bronze dial signed “Le Ore” with porcelain inset hour numerals and 5 minute numbers, has a brass spring driven 8 day movement signed “FHS, Germany” (for Franz Hermle), half hour strike on 2 bells at the top of the movement and a brass covered pendulum bob with wood stick. In a floral inlaid walnut case with gilt bronze mounts and figural finial top, case signed “Le Ore, Italy” and is in excellent condition. c. 20th Century. 25.5 in. high x 15 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Oak case has an arched top with scroll carved corbel sides and fluted pilasters, ebonized inset panels are decorated with fancy inlaid silver filigree; case has applied bronze ribbon, fruit and filigree draped on top and stands on 6 bronze feet. 5.25 in. ebonized wood dial is inlaid with silver filigree, applied porcelain Roman hour numerals and brass hands; lg. round brass spring driven movement with half hour strike on a bell. Case is in excellent condition, running, clock strikes. 15.5 in. high x 24 in. wide x 6.75 in. deep. Weight: 26 lbs.

French Movement Marked GLT (Possibly Guillemet) French Mystery Conical Pendulum Clock, Circa 1885, 5″ incised marble dial, 8-day, brass movement signed “GLT”, red marble with gilt bronze skirt & feet, patinated spelter statue, excellent condition, nicely restored throughout. A very rare and remarkable clock with a beveled glass crystal pendulum that constantly swings to & fro by means of a slight vibration secretly giving an impulse.

French Rotary Pendulum Time & Strike Conical Clock: the time and bell striking movement is encased in a ball, the same as used on free swinging clocks. It is marked Medaille Dor-CLT-BTE-SCDC-Paris and numbered 8034. The bronze tripod shape holds the now missing string supported pendulum. The short pedestal is made of slate, under that is a bronze support with 3 adjustable feet. The clock will run and strike; tested by hand. Preserved under a not original glass dome with wood base.
