by Jean Antoine LePine, circa 1800. Having been exceptionally sculpted with great detail and well cast with a good gilt bronze mounted surface. The dial is marble as well and is signed LePine at upper segment. The handsome piece having a mission numeral 8 at the dial, otherwise nice well kept overall condition. French Figural Marble & Bronze Mantle Clock. Gilt bronze seated figure of a philosopher with a pen and a basket of paper scrolls, black marble clock tower with arched top, black marble base with green marble inset panels on the front and sides with gilt bronze mounts and trim. 4 in. porcelain dial with open moon hands; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy Freres & ÂRollin a ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

Large bronze figure of a woman, Pandora, seated on a plinth with lionÂs head on the side, she wears a loose dress and an open box lays beside her; on a dark brown polished marble base with bronze mounts and feet, unsigned. 5.5 in. black marble dial with gilt incised Roman hour numerals, gilt brass center and brass hands; large round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂS. Marti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell, in running condition, has key and pendulum, case is in excellent condition, missing rear door. 25.5 in. high x 18 in. wide x 9 in. deep.
