Figural Marble & Bronze French Mantle Clock. Has a white marble base with gilt bronze mounts & feet, pr. of figural winged maiden sphinxes sit opposite facing on raised plinths and hold the timepiece up between their wings, a figural nude maiden is seated on top leaning back and viewing herself in a hand mirror. 4.5 in. porcelain dial with black hour numbers, fancy gilt pierced hands and hinged door bezel with beveled convex glass; bras 8 day spring driven French movement signed ÂVincenti & CieÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell and a brass pendulum bob with maidenÂs head mount on the front. Bell is replaced, rear door is broken, marble has some edge chips, front mounted plaque is missing 2 ends and the dial has hairlines and a few chips around the edge. 16 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 4.5 in. deep.

Gilt bronze seated figure of a philosopher with a pen and a basket of paper scrolls, black marble clock tower with arched top, black marble base with green marble inset panels on the front and sides with gilt bronze mounts and trim. 4 in. porcelain dial with open moon hands; round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂJapy FreresÂ & ÂRollin a ParisÂ, has a half hour strike on a bell. Black marble has a few breaks and repairs, front feet are broken off but we do have them, no hairlines in the dial. 17 in. high x 21.5 in. wide x 7.5 in. deep.

Dial has some imperfections, missing minute hand, on an ebonized wood base missing dome. 17.5 in. high x 16 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Gilt bronze case depicts 2 putti seated on the top with a nest of baby birds at their feet, a dove in the lower left beside a bird cage and the center figure holds a dove up in his left hand; has a fancy swirling filigree decorated base with painted porcelain inserts on either side of the 3.5 in. porcelain dial. Typical round brass spring driven 8 day movement has an half hour bell strike and is signed ÂJapy FreresÂ & ÂRollin AÂ ParisÂ. In good condition, running, striking and has an overall clean gilt finish; sm. chip on the dial around the strike arbor hole. 13 in. high x 13 in. wide x 4 in. deep.

French Figural Bronze Mantle Clock. 4 in. bronze dial with black painted Roman hour numerals and open moon hands, decorated around the chapter ring and in the center with a grapevine pattern, the dial is shown hanging in a long drapery being carried by a flying winged putti figure, raised up on a long column; the base is decorated with a winged cupid figure lounging by the waterside with a cluster of grapes in one hand and goblet in the other, a pair of doves are perched on a stone wall beside him. Has a typical round brass spring driven movement with half hour count wheel strike mechanism on a bell; movement signed ÂChappe, A ParisÂ. The long bronze gridiron pendulum has a large relief decorated bronze bob with maidens head having long flowing hair entwined with grape clusters and grapevine decorated wreath outside. Minute hand is broken at the end. 21 in. high x 10 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
