French Bronze & Onyx Mantle Clock. Dore bronze figure of a woman seated in an empire style chair, wearing loose garments and posing facing to her left with a lyre rested against her hip, has a beautiful dore gold finish with minor spotting and touchup, numbered on the back 2276; on a carved white onyx base with bronze trim. 3.5 in. pure white onyx dial with brass Roman hour numerals, gilt open moon hands and hinged brass door bezel with beveled crystal; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂPonsÂ, has an half hour strike on a bell. Top section of marble is loose. 22 in. high x 21 in. wide x 8 in. deep.
