French Brass & Cut Glass Crystal Regulator. 4 in. porcelain dial with black hour numbers and painted hanging garland design inside, fancy pierced gilt hands and gilt brass bezel; typical round brass French spring driven movement with half hour strike on a coiled gong, 2 jar mercurial pendulum and signed A.D. Mougin. In a brass case with fancy finials, rosettes & mounts, feet and capitols at the top and bottom of the cut glass side columns, has beveled glass on the front & rear doors and also the sides; case is signed M. Corpet, France. In excellent condition with no breaks or losses to the glass and a nice overall gilt finish. 15 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.
