An 18th cntury French Bracket clock by Francois Lancelot, Paris. 8-day time and strike movement with Velvet covered dial with circular cast Brass center, Silvered chapter ring and Roman numerals on porcelain markers, lower moon phase indicator globe flanked by Date/Month/Zodiac and Day/Moon Phase subsidiary dials, lower date aperture and porcelain maker's plaque. Boulle case with caddy top and Gilded flame finials over a pierced Brass frieze and single shaped door with glazed side panels, Brass molded base with gadrooned brass feet. Good overall condition with some wear and restoration, lacks two bell hammers, nut on bells and seconds hand, converted to anchor escapement, not running when cataloged. 26 1/4" high.
