A tall Art Nouveau spelter case clock with the unusual feature of green slag glass panel behind the front openwork design, the classic flowing line of the Art Nouveau movement, porcelain enamel dial with painted Arabic numerals and minute division intervals of 45 minutes, painted florals and fronds, gilt cattail figural hands, unmarked time and strike brass plate movement. Measures 19.25 x 10.5 inches.

Histoire par Serres (SCLPTr) figural mantel clock, depicting female figure with history books. Signed by sculptor S. Serres. Enamel dial with Art Nouveau orchid decoration. Variegated red marble base. Very good restored condition, with touch up to gilt finish, with a few minor flakes on the round marble base, movement need minor repairs lacking pendulum. 28″H x 11″W x 11″D
