A diminutive turn of the century French three piece clock set. Includes a Gilded Bronze and Verde Marble clock with a pair of matching candelabra. 30-hour time only movement with platform escapement within a globe with Roman numerals and serpent hands. The clock with a Gilded Cupid figure with Bow and Arrow in hand beside the clock with Love Bird finial, on a Marble base with floral swag and a Bronze molding on flattened ball feet. En suite with two candelabra with engine turned candle cups, three foliate arms and matching bases. Minor wear, running when cataloged. Up to 10 1/2" high overall. ESTIMATE $800-1,200

French Empire Inlaid Portico Clock. 4 in. porcelain dial has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands and signed J. Valery, a Paris; typical round French brass 8 day spring driven movement with bell strike and gridiron pendulum with filigree decorated gilt bronze bob. The inlaid walnut case has a dark brown finish with serpentine crest, 4 spiral turned columns having gilt bronze capitols & bezel and the base. Dial has some damage at 1 o’clock and the clock’s suspension spring is missing. 21 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

French “CIE” Trademark Large French Swing Arm Clock, Circa 1915, 6″ ball type dial, with applied bronze numerals, 8-day, brass spring driven movement, statue base has plaque stating “Brise D’Automne par Aug Moreau (Med. D’Or)”, base of statue is also signed Aug. Moreau, a wonderful large swing arm clock that has been professionally restored to its original splendor, sometimes referred to as “Flower Girl”, excellent restored condition, with repair to woman’s left arm,. Height 40″, Width 10″, Depth 12″.
