French Mahogany bracket clock by Antoine Gaudreau Paris, circa 1690, gilt bronze dial with porcelain insert plaque and roman numerals on one bell at the top ( not old, has been replaced). Below the dial, there is a decorative gilt bronze element with a central plaque and the signature Goudron, Paris. The movement is signed on the back, see pictures for details. The clock measures 20 3/4 inches including the finial x 12 inches x 5 inches deep. In working order, accuracy is never guaranteed. Keys included minor age-related damages on the wood.

French Mahogany Bracket Clock. 5 in. engraved brass dial with black insides Roman hour numerals and minute numbers outside; square brass 8 day spring driven movement signed ÂS. Marti et CieÂ, has half hour strike on a coiled gong, in running condition, has pendulum. In a mahogany case with spiral turned corner columns, faux bell top with figural Frenchman finial, gilt brass corner finials, mounts and feet. In nice overall condition, repair at the top hinge of the door. 23.75 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 7 n. deep. Weight: 11 lbs.

An ebonized wood case with a painted metal backboard having gilt highlights behind a sliding glass panel, 5 in. porcelain dial with black Roman hour numerals and trefoil hands; brass 8 day spring driven time only movement signed with monogram ÂA.R. for Antoine Redier. Has a lower perpetual calendar mechanism with 2 original rotating cylinders having original labels displaying the days of the week over the month, between displays the date having a paper tape winding between 2 reels which is Ârewound on the left side of the case. In good condition, original finish, time and calendar mechanisms are running and has original full multi lingual instructions label on the backboard. 17.5 in. high x 12.5 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.
