Figural Lion Desk Clock. 2.5 in. porcelain dial with black hour numbers, black hands and brass bezel with beveled crystal; small round spring driven fuse watch-type movement signed ÂCranbrook, London, No. 1729Â, has fancy engraving, pierced decorated bridge and turned pillars. Movement is contained in a brass tub mounted on a saddle on the top of the spelter lionÂs back, has an eagle finial and mounted on a kidney shaped walnut base; the back cover of the case has a round hand painted panel with scene of a young woman standing in a field, the reverse of the panel has a second painting depicting an erotic scene of a the woman nude in the bushes and accompanied by a man. Nice overall condition, tip of lionÂs tail is missing, no hairlines in the dial, movement is running. 9.5 in. high x 8 in. wide x 3.75 in. deep. Weight: 3.25 lbs.

Massive French Figural Clock, Lady, Lion +: With a bell strike movement, No. 26384 and a porcelain dial. The case is topped with a lady touching a globe and a full cornucopia. The lower front of the case has a lion resting on a shield with a sword and battle axe. The case is also decorated with fruit, floral garlands and acanthus leaves. The pendulum is with the clock.
The clock is running and striking at this time.
(The object she was holding in her left hand is missing. The statue has been painted and lacquered. There is a foundry hole in the statue – behind the woman’s leg.)

Massive French Figural Clock, Lady, Globe & Lion: With a bell strike movement, No. 26384 and a porcelain dial. The case is topped with a lady touching a globe and a full cornucopia. The lower front of the case has a lion resting on a shield with a sword and battle axe. There are also fruit and floral garlands along with acanthus leaves.

Beautiful malachite case with 22k gold plated on .800 silver mounts, trim and figure of a huntress holding a bow and seated nestled to a deer which is laying down; 2.25 in. applied brass dial with white enamel highlights around the Roman hour numerals, has a brass bezel with beveled square crystal. 8 day spring driven 7 jewel movement signed ÂLooping, SwissÂ, has a lever escapement and is running. Case has a stress crack in the right side. Clock is mid- late 20th C. 10.25 in. high x 6 in. wide x 3 in. deep.
