An Exceptional 19th century Black Forest carved Walnut table clock with on-demand music box. 8-day Brass time and strike movement with carved wooden dial and Brass Roman numerals, serial #117699, with an on-demand cylinder music box having pull string winding and play, marked "J L C" on plate. Exceptional hand carved Walnut case features a hawk sitting on a farmer's harvest basket looking down at a rabbit, rooster, hen and two chicks with wheat sheaves, logs, rock and foliate detail. Old finish with slight wear and minor damage, running and functioning when cataloged. 33 1/2 x 13 x 34" high overall. ESTIMATE $6,000-8,000

A 19th century Leuenberger Black Forest carved Walnut table clock with lower multi-tune music box. 8-day Brass time and strike movement with carved wooden dial and Blue porcelain Roman numeral markers, marked "Leuenberger, Interlaken" serial #1649, with lower hour/on-demand cylinder music box with independent key wind at base. Exceptional hand carved Walnut case features a Hunter seated with his Schuetzen rifle on his back and hunting dog at his feet with tree root and foliate detail. Old finish with slight wear and minor damage, replaced hands, touch-ups to 12 o'clock marker, running and functioning when cataloged. 22 x 12 x 26" high overall. ESTIMATE $4,000-6,000

Attr: Johann Baptist Beha Black Forest Carved Cuckoo Table Clock. 6 in. wood dial with incised and painted Roman hour numerals and pierced brass hands; double fusee spring driven movement has wooden strap plates, has an hour cuckoo strike with coiled gong, long steel pendulum rod and brass covered bob. In a carved table model case with branches, oak leaves and acorns, bird in the crest and a fox tangled in a leg trap on the front. Unsigned, in nice overall condition with an enhanced original finish, has a few carving repairs, running and striking, cuckoo bird is working. 22 in. high x 14 in. wide x 9 in. deep. Weight: 16.5 lbs.

Exceptional Gilt Bronze Table Clock. 5 in. inset porcelain dial signed “Brevete, Le Roy & Fils, Pal’s Royal G’ie Montpensier 13-15, Paris, 21 Regent Street, London”, has black Roman hour numerals, open moon hands, sweep seconds hand and exposed duplex escapement; quality brass movement is signed “Le Roy & Fils, No. 7923, a Paris” and Medaille D’or, Lons, 1827”, has an half hour strike on a bell with heavy gridiron pendulum with brass bob. In a very fine quality gilt bronze case with arched top, turned finial, fancy scrolled side corbels, stands on turned feet with beveled on the sides, front and rear doors; excellent condition, running. 21.5 in. high x 13.75 in. wide x 7.75 in. deep. Weight: 39 lbs.
