Birge, Mallory & Co. Joseph Ives Connecticut Lyre Clock, Copy: circa 1960’s to 70′; painted wood dial with cutout for a visible movement by Martha Smallwood with a weight driven, 8 day strap movement marked B.M. & Co.; in a custom gold leafed lyre case with a good interior label; the sunburst pendulum and the weights. Made of old and new parts.
Not tested.
(There is a small split in the wood at the bottom left hand side of the lyre.)
