A 19th century Ephraim Downs shelf clock. 30-hour weight driven wooden time and strike movement with painted wooden dial and Roman numerals. Mahogany case with a carved scrolled crest over a door with clear dial glass and mirrored lower flanked by carved foliate pilasters, carved paw feet. Paper label 60% intact. Original finish with some wear, minor damage, running when cataloged. 29 1/4" high. ESTIMATE $300-400
