English Sterling Silver Carriage Clock. Porcelain dial has a 1.75 in. chapter ring with black Arabic numbers and blued spade hands; French, brass, time only, spring driven movement with platform lever escapement, in good running condition, balance swings freely with nice brisk motion. In a repousse sterling silver case with swirling filigree and scroll designs, handle on top and glass in the bezel; case is signed with hallmarks for Birmingham, England, Sterling Silver, by H. Matthews, 1906. In very good condition with no dents, dings, breaks or repairs, in original leather covered travel box. 4 in. high x 2.5 in. wide x 2 in. deep.
