English Sterling Silver 1 Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 2.25″ relief decorated gilt brass dial with fancy hour numbers surrounded by birds, filigree and a north wind face; brass 8 day spring driven movement signed with “A.M.” and beehive trade mark for Francois Arsene Margaine, has a platform lever escapement and half hour strike with repeater on a coiled gong. In a repousse sterling silver case signed with hallmarks on the case, rear door and bezel for John Bodman Carrington, English sterling, London, 1891 and also Carrington Co., 130 Regent St. and crown mark on the bottom; has a hinged handle with flowers, flowing filigree and figures on the case. Running, striking, good overall condition. 5.25″ high x 3″ wide x 2.75″ deep. Weight: 2.25 lbs.

Miniature Quarter Hour Repeater Carriage Clock. 1 in. porcelain dial with black Roman our numerals and blued hands, unusual brass spring driven movement signed on the rear plated “Nocturne” and “Brevete, 30225” with Swiss cross, has a platform lever escapement; button on top of the case with separate spring activates the quarter hour 2 gong strike, clock strikes on demand. In a tortoise shell case with gilt washed sterling silver mounts, handle and ball feet; hinges are stamped with “H.A. & Co.”, London and sterling hallmarks. Has key, running and striking, no cracks or chips in the case, gilt wash has some typical wear. 3 in. high. Weight: 0.5 lbs.

In a gilt brass case with fluted corner columns, arched beveled front glass, beveled glass on the sides and top, viewing the escapement, hinged handle and German inscriptions on back for speed regulator and alarm wind. Porcelain dial has a 1.75 in. chapter ring with black Arabic numbers and blued spade hands; French, brass, time only, spring driven movement with platform lever escapement, in good running condition, balance swings freely with nice brisk motion. In a repousse sterling silver case with swirling filigree and scroll designs, handle on top and glass in the bezel; case is signed with hallmarks for Birmingham, England, Sterling Silver, by H. Matthews, 1906. In very good condition with no dents, dings, breaks or repairs, in original leather covered travel box. 4 in. high x 2.5 in. wide x 2 in. deep.

In a fancy gilt brass case having a wavy form, fancy ionic corner columns, beveled glasses on the doors, sides and top exposing the escapement.
