Mixed wood case with Original Chinoisorie decoration, sarcophagus top with turned wooden finials, square glazed hood door with incorporated columns, rectangular waist door above a simple molded base. In running order. Original decoration approx. 50% intact with some loss and older restoration, one door capitol replaced, some damage and older repair. 88″ high overall.

Mahogany case with round top hood and molded Brass bezel, rectangular waist door with contrasting veneers and a Brass Presentation plaque dated 1828, above a simple molded base with turned feet. In running order. Case refinished with minor wear, lacks finial and crest, dial repainted. 84″ high overall.

English 8 Tube Oak Grandfather Clock. Quality 14 in. silvered dial has black incised Roman hour numerals surrounded by engraved swirling filigree, fancy pierced hands, 3 in. sub seconds dial and sub dials above for “Chime/Silent” & “Westminster Chimes/Whittington Chimes”. Quality brass 8 day weight driven movement is unsigned, has a Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, half hour strike on 8 silvered tubular chimes signed “W. Moore, London” and strikes the hour on a coiled gong; has 3 brass covered weights with brass pulleys and a quality 1 glass jar mercurial compensating pendulum with a long steel rod. In a quality oak case, carved bonnet with broken pediment crest with turned finial, rosettes, filigree carved frieze, quarter columns on the corners and pierced carved side panels the body of the case has turned quarter columns, mullioned beveled glasses on the door and a relief filigree carved inset lower panel. In beautiful cleaned and restored condition, excellent refinished case. 103 in. high x 25 in. wide x 16 in. deep.
