English bracket clock has an 8 in. painted metal dial signed "Jupling, London" has black Roman hour numerals and fancy pierced decorated hands; brass 8 day double fusee spring driven movement is signed on the rear plate "Jupling, London", quality brass pendulum, anchor escapement and hour strike on a brass bell. In a mahogany case with brass handle on the arched top, brass inlays on the front panel and corners and hinged brass door bezel with convex crystal. Enhanced original finish, time mechanism is running; has minor pulling to the veneer and inlay, rear door glass missing, dial repainted, strike mechanism is not functioning properly. 17.25 in. high x 10.75 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep.

English Double Fusee Mahogany Bracket Clock. 8 in. dia. iron dial signed ÂHandley & Moore, Clerkenwell, London has black Roman hour numerals and original fancy pierced decorated hands; brass 8 day double fusee spring driven movement has engraved rear plate, engraved brass covered pendulum bob with silvered steel stick and lockdown hardware, hour strike on a bell at the top of the movement with on chime-silent switch behind the front door. Mahogany arched top case with brass handle, fish scale pierced brass panels below the dial and on the sides and stands on claw feet. Nice condition overall, has minor veneer repairs and losses, nice clean enhanced original finish, in working condition. 16 in. high x 13 in. wide x 8 in. deep. Weight: 19 lbs.

English Double Fusee Mahogany Bracket Clock. 7″ convex painted iron dial signed “Samuel Martin, Cheltenham” has black Roman hour numerals, black painted hands and hinged round brass door bezel with convex crystal; brass 8 day double fusee spring driven movement has an engraved rear plate, heavy brass covered engraved pendulum bob with lockdown and hour bell strike. Fitted to a later 19th century mahogany gothic revival case having a beehive form with turned finials, triple cluster columns on the front, brass side handles and brass ball feet. Overcoated original finish, replaced upper finial, missing suspension spring, replaced hour hand. Movement & dial appear original to each other; Samuel Martin opened on “The Strand” in Cheltenham in 1808, which later became Martin & Co. to which a Royal Warrant was presented by Queen Victoria in 1838. Measures 23″ high x 10.75″ wide x 7″ deep. Weight: 19.25 lbs.
