Shelf Clock. 6 in. paper dial has black Roman hour numerals with 31 Arabic date numbers outside and open apertures exposing the rotating day & month indicator discs, dial signed ÂEmpire Calendar Clock Co., Genoa, NY Â pat. June 19, Â83; pierced brass spring driven movement signed Wm. Gilbert Clock Co. has count wheel mechanism with coiled gong hour strike, calendar mechanism mounted to the front of the movement and a fancy filigree decorated pendulum bob. In carved wood mantle case with ebonized finish, fancy gilt incising and silvered reverse decorated Egyptian revival themed door glass. 19 in. high x 10.5 in. wide x 5 in. deep.

Waterbury Calendar No. 44 Double Dial Shelf Clock. 6 in. paper dial with black Roman hour numerals and gilt bezel; brass 8 day spring driven movement has an half hour countwheel strike mechanism on a coiled gong. 6 in. lower calendar dial has 31 date numbers, cutout apertures for day and month, signed Waterbury Clock Co. USA; brass perpetual lower calendar mechanism is in good running condition, has replaced labels. In a walnut case with carved crest, side corbels and reverse painted door glass. In good condition, clean original finish. 24 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 6 in. deep.

Empire Clock Co. Shelf Calendar Clock: In an ebonized case with an 8 day T&S movement and J.E. Young Patent Calendar. There is a marked paper dial that reads “Empire Calendar Clock Genoa, N.Y. Pat’d 19-83”. The pendulum is with the clock.

Dubois French Empire 4 Columns Portico Calendar Clock. 6 in. silvered and damascened dial has black painted Roman hour numerals with open moon hands, 2 sub dials with French abbreviations for Day & Month and open aperture exposing the date, dore bronze filigree decorated bezel; round brass spring driven movement with deadbeat escapement, count wheel half hour strike mechanism with a steel bell, large quality gridiron pendulum, in good running condition. In a beautiful French empire 4 column case with ebonized lacquered finish, dore bronze trim, capitols and overhanging cornice top. 28.5 in. high x 14.5 in. wide x 7.75 in. deep.

Prentiss Improvement Clock Co. 60 Day Empire Model Calendar Wall Clock. 10 in. painted metal dial has black Roman hour numerals, blued spade hands have some surface rust, dial is signed ÂHenry S. Prentiss  Lessee  Prentiss Calendar & Time Co., New YorkÂ. 60 day, quality brass double spring driven time only movement has a solid brass front plate and pierced iron back plate and Graham deadbeat escapement, long drop pendulum has a wood stick and engraved brass covered bob; movement is numbered 812 over Pat. Dec. 10, 1889 over 1117. The center arbor of the movement has a Âsnail gear connected to a rod which lowers to trigger the release lever on the top of the calendar mechanism, once a day the release lever is engaged which rotates the calendars Âday cylinder and the 31 date rotary Âflick card style mechanism with operates on a separate spring; the month and day barrels have a polygon form and retain their original paper labels, the date cards have replaced labels. In a beautiful oak case titled ÂEmpireÂ, has a carved crest with raised paneled corner spandrels around the door bezel; the lower drop section has 3 inset reverse gold foil decorated glass apertures exposing the day, month and date labels of the calendar mechanism; the entire front of the case slides off for easy access to the interior of the clock. In original finish, running and in very good overall condition. Stamped on the front of the lower bracket on the case ÂProperty of The Prentiss Calendar & Time Co. New York  2280Â. 37 in. high x 14 in. wide x 7 in. deep.

Fully functional
Condition:
The clock bears signs of age and wear. The wood partially bears tension cracks, blemishes and abrasion. The brass surface is rubbed in places. The enamel-dial with several chips, scratches and hairline cracks. The lever for the strike silent function is missing. The sound of the spiral gong is not harmonious. During in house testing, the timepiece was fully functional. The overall dimensions measure 45.5 x 27 x 15.5 cm.
