Elite mahogany grandfather clock with a 12 in. silvered dial having applied brass hour numerals, engraved gilt brass center, silvered sub seconds dial and sub calendar dial, pierced blued hands, painted moon phase dial with townscape and harbor scenes and gilt pierced decorated corner spandrels; brass eight day, weight driven movement signed "Elite, Germany, 73653-301" has fancy turned posts, Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, half hour strike on a cathedral gong, solid brass pulleys, brass covered weights, wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a fancy mahogany case with tall broken arch pediment crest having tall turned finials, turned corner columns on the bonnet, fluted corner quarter columns and beveled glass door at the waist and large beveled panels in the base. In beautiful condition with a nice original finish. 99 in. high x 22 in. wide x 15 in. deep.

Brass dial has a 12 in. silvered chapter ring with applied brass hour numbers, silvered sub seconds dial, levers for Chime/Silent & Strike/Silent, etched gilt and pierced brass filigree decorated center and corner spandrels with moon phase dial at the top, brass weight driven movement has Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, 3 brass pulleys, brass covered weights and brass covered pendulum, bob with steel stick, movement signed “Elite” and numbered “83416”. In a mahogany case with pyramidal top having fern & scroll carved crest and corner mounts, medallion and filigree carved frieze, double corner columns on the bonnet; the body has smooth turned corner columns with carved capitols, beveled glass on the oval door panel, carved base panel and claw feet. Nice original finish. 99 in. high x 28 in. wide x 18 in. deep.

In a beautiful carved mahogany case with arched bonnet top, medallion crest, carved filigree on the frieze, pierced carved side panels and turned columns on the corners with carved capitols; the body has a long beveled glass door with turned columns having carved capitols, inset carved panel in the base with turned corner columns and stands on carved claw feet. Mahogany 9 Tube 3 Weight Grandfather Clock. 12″ silvered dial signed “Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co., Philadelphia” has applied gilt brass hour numbers, pierced filigree hands, fancy gilt pierced and engraved filigree center and corner spandrels, moon phase, silvered sub seconds and sub dials for “Silent-Strike” and “Whittington-Westminster”; brass 8 day weight driven movement signed “Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co., Philadelphia & London” has a Graham deadbeat escapement, retaining power, solid brass pulleys with brass covered weights, steel pendulum stick with brass covered bob and 9 tubes with progressive quarter hour strike on 8 and hour strike on 1, silvered tubes are signed “Tubular Bells Pat. Nov. 8, 1887, Walter H. Durfee, Prov. RI”. In a carved mahogany case has a filigree carved crest centered with a turned torch finial over a large seashell and serpentine filigree carved corbeled sides; base and body have a serpentine form with filigree carving, beveled glasses and a north wind face centered in the bottom panel. Eight day grandfather clock has a 12 in. silvered dial with applied gilt brass hour numbers, pierced blued hands, brass back plate with pierced decorated filigree corner spandrels, sub seconds dial and moon phase dial; brass 8 day weight driven time only movement is unsigned, has Graham deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, half hour strike on a coiled gong, solid brass pulleys with brass covered weights and an ebonized wood pendulum stick with brass covered bob. In a mahogany case with turned finials and turned corner columns on the bonnet, beveled door glass in the body with long turned corner columns and stands on claw feet. Excellent overall condition and original finish, has a repair to the center finial, numbered behind the bonnet "564." Measures 93 in. high x 26 in. wide x 16.5 in. deep.

Elite iron grandfather clock has an 11 in. silvered dial signed "J.M. Henwood & Co., Binghampton, N.Y.," with gilt brass Arabic hour numerals, sub seconds dial and pierced brass central appliques, pierced decorated hands for Silent-Chime, Silent-Strike, 4 Bells or 8 Bells. Brass 8 day, weight driven movement signed on the back "Elite" and numbered "78723," has deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, quarter hour progressive strike on a rack of 8 tubular chimes and hour strike on a cathedral gong; chimes are signed "Elite, U.S. Pat. 68690, Nov. 12, 1901" and a large “0” beside the signature. In a pierced filigree decorated cast iron Gothic style floor standing case, long Gothic arched front door and glass panels on the sides. Case has an original black finish and is in very good overall condition, no repairs to the case, no cracks in the chimes, clock runs and strikes. 91.5 in. high x 22.5 in. wide x 14.5 in. deep.
